Shipping Info

MANAGING THE SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OF YOUR NEW AMGO LIFT

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OFFLOADING MY AMGO LIFT?
A – Our customers are responsible for unloading the lifts from the Semi-truck when they arrive at your location. Freight companies will not have drivers offload the shipments. For an extra charge some companies will provide a truck with a liftgate, but that is only for small shipments – most lifts are to large to use a liftgate. If you contract with a local installer – then they can usually accept your lift and deliver it to you to install it. These arrangements must be made before the lift ships.

HOW DO I OFF-LOAD MY NEW LIFT OUT OF THE TRAILER?
A. – AMGO lifts always require some form of lift truck to get your new lift out of the trailer. The arrangements for this must be made before the lift ships so you can coordinate the lift arrival with the trucking company

If you do not have this type of equipment – then other arrangements – like having it delivered to a terminal – must be made with us before the lift ships.

WHAT DO I DO IF I RECEIVE MY LIFT AND NOTICE THAT IT HAS DAMAGE?
A.- As with any freight shipment it is the customers responsibility to check out your lift carefully for any damage – BEFORE YOU ACCEPT IT.

When the freight leaves our warehouse it has been checked out carefully to ensure that there is no damage to the lift. If you offload the lift and see any damage you need to note it on the bill of lading BEFORE you sign – then contact us so you can make a freight claim with the freight company.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY NEW AMGO LIFT WILL ARRIVE?
A.  – when your lift ships we will send you a Bill of Lading that will have the shippers PRO-Number. Contact the shipper and use this number to coordinate the arrival of the lift so you can have the needed off-loading equipment available – If you have any questions when you receive your shipping documents – let us know
